FAQ

Consignment Questions

What is the difference between trade-in and consignment?

Trade-in gives you a guaranteed payout upfront, but at a lower amount. Consignment lists and sells at market price so you receive a larger percentage after commission.

How long does it take for items to sell?

Sell-through depends on condition and demand. Popular items can sell quickly. Listings run for 90 days, then we return or renegotiate terms for unsold items.

What is the minimum value for consignment?

Recommended minimum is $200 per item. Lower-value items are usually better suited for the mail-in trade-in program.

How do I get paid?

After sale, payout is issued minus agreed commission. Payout schedule can be monthly or upon sale based on approved terms.

What happens if my item does not sell?

After 90 days, we contact you to return the item, relist at an adjusted price, or convert to trade-in if preferred.

Do I pay for shipping?

No. Once approved, we send a prepaid insured label. Pack securely and drop at USPS.
